Aleksander Estate Winery and Koi Sushi, voted 2010 Favourite Essex County Winery and Restaurant respectively in the 2010 WindsorEats Awards, are teaming up during Eat Your City 2010 to offer you a ‘Wine and Dine’ in the County.
First, enjoy a wine tasting featuring the Aleksander Estate Merlot, Shiraz and Chardonnay. If you love them (we’re sure you will), this week only you can purchase the Merlot and Shiraz for $17.99 and the Chardonnay for $12.95!
After teasing your palate, head on to Koi Sushi and Japanese Cuisine in uptown Kingsville to enjoy a 3-course EYC dinner for only $25.
The meal includes your choice of tempura vegetable eggrolls, starter Koi salad, or sushi appetizer followed by your choice of steak teriyaki, panko chicken or sushi dinner with tempura banana dessert!

Two popular Thai restaurants in Windsor, Thai Silk Restaurant and Thai Palace Restaurant, will each be offering both a lunch and dinner Eat Your City 2010 menu.
Thai Palace will be offering a 3-course $15 lunch and $25 dinner menu while Thai Silk will also be offering a $15 lunch and a $25 dinner menu.
A quick tip to remember when you go out to eat for EYC 2010
You can use your receipt with an EYC menu ordered on it to win prizes! Each participating restaurant will have a ballot box that you can place your receipt into as a ballot. Simply write your name, city adn either phone number or email address to the back of your receipt and slide it into the ballot box.
Prizes include the value of your receipt (up to $200) in cash, an all local gift basket from Locally Yours ($75 value), a basket of local greatness delivered to your door from County Connect (value $40) and a gift basket from Thai Palace Restaurant (value $35).

Our Eat Your City event has become so popular, Elias Deli Eatery signed up just so they could be a part of it!
The popular deli in downtown Windsor will be offering a great $10 EYC lunch menu.
If you’re going to try it out and are in the mood to have your taste buds cry tears of joy, order their Pastrami sandwich.

You can now have some fantastic, award winning Japanese cuisine as part of your Eat Your City 2010 experience.
Koi Sushi & Japanese Cuisine, located in Kingsville, have submitted they 3-course $25 EYC dinner menu and I am very excited to see the Panko Chicken listed on it.
Koi recently won the “Best Restaurant in the County” award in the 2010 WindsorEats Awards.

The popular Old Walkerville hangout, The Gourmet Emporium, has released their Eat Your City 2010 menu.
They will be offering a 3-course $25 EYC dinner menu with some delicious looking options available.
Also, Mazaar Restaurant in Downtown Windsor also released their 3-course $25 EYC dinner menu today. Along with a couple of their popular items, it looks like they may have some great new items to try out.

Chanoso’s Restaurant will once again be participating in the Eat Your City 2010 restaurant week.
The popular Downtown Windsor restaurant will be offering both a $15 EYC lunch menu and a $25 EYC dinner menu.
With their location downtown just around the corner from the location of our free outdoor film screening, we recommend heading out for dinner and a movie on Friday, August 6, 2010 and watch The Princess Bride out under the stars.

One of the new fixtures on Windsor’s Via Italia has released their menus for Eat Your City 2010!
Centro will be offering both a $15 EYC lunch menu and a $25 EYC dinner menu.
Also please remember that during EYC 2010, that if you write your name, city and phone number or email on the back of your receipt that shows the purchase of an EYC menu, you are entered to win prizes which include the entire amount of your receipt in cash up to a value of $200!

Mezzo Ristorante & Lounge are at it again, participating in their 4th Windsor-Essex restaurant week and their 2nd Eat Your City.
The popular Erie Street restaurant will be offering a $15 EYC lunch menu and both a $25 EYC dinner menu and a $35 EYC dinner menu.
The menus look fantastic and Mezzo usually fills up pretty quick during Eat Your City so reservations are highly recommended.
