WindsorEats is turning 20 years old and we’re inviting you to come celebrate with us!
On Saturday, June 1, 2024, WindsorEats welcomes all who want to wish us a happy birthday with some good food and drink at the WindsorEats Food Hall.
Here are all the details you need to know about the birthday celebrations.
WHERE AND WHEN IS THIS HAPPENING?
WindsorEats’ 20th Birthday Party is happening at the WindsorEats Food Hall on Saturday, June 1, 2024. The doors open at 2pm and it’ll go all night until 11pm.
The WindsorEats Food Hall is located at 400 Erie Street East in the Via Italia district of Windsor, Ontario. Just a heads up, our entryway is in the alleyway.
IS IT REALLY FREE TO ATTEND?
Absolutely!
IS IT CHILD AND PET FRIENDLY?
We’re always welcoming to well behaved children and pets. We even have games and colouring sheets and crayons, and even dog friendly non-alcoholic “beers”.
WILL THERE BE MUSIC?
Andrew MacLeod will hit the stage on our patio from 3pm to 6pm before Ryan Stoker continues the live music from 7pm to 1030pm

Of course! Rico Taco will be serving up Mexican cuisine including their much loved birria tacos, Frylicious and their sandwiches and poutines , and Kaeru Snack Bar will be slinging some delicious Japanese street food.
IS IT INSIDE OR OUTSIDE?
Both! While most of the festivities will take place outdoors on Windsor’s largest patio, we also have indoor seating.
DRINK SPECIALS AVAILABLE
To celebrate our 20th birthday, we’re giving $1 off for each decade we’ve been around. That means each and every drink we serve will be $2 off all day on Saturday!
Margaritas? $2 off.
Craft beers? $2 off.
Cocktail flights? $2 off.
Also, we’ll be giving a sneak peek at some of our new spritzes (Aperol spritz, anyone?) before launching our brand new promotion, Sunday Spritz, in the coming weeks.
It’s just a tiny way that we can say thank you for all your support over the years!
IS THERE PARKING?
We always encourage our guests coming to have a good time to be responsible and find an alternative way to get here and back home. That being said, we have parking on the street directly in front of the WindsorEats Food Hall, in the gravel lot behind (to the north towards the river), and in a municipal lot on Howard Avenue just steps away which is free after 6pm.
We ask that you please do not park in the New Beginnings spaces or in the Nizam Pastry lot. If you do park there, don’t be surprised if your car isn’t there when you leave (ie. it’s been towed).
We are also a hub for Bird Canada scooters and bikes and there should be plenty parked outside.
HOW ABOUT A PUPPY PARTY INSTEAD?
If you can’t make WindsorEats’ birthday celebration on the Saturday, you can always come out for Zoey’s 17th Birthday Puppy Party on Sunday, June 2!
Zoey is WindsorEats’ resident pup and she’s having a puppy party for her birthday and all dogs are invited to enjoy the fun!
The Puppy Party will take place from 2pm to 5pm.
Our pet friendly patio will be the place to be with your dog. We’ll have professional photographer, Syx Langemann, on site taking free pics of your good boy or girl, a free paw print art station, and dog friendly “beer”.
Her birthday is free to attend. Rico Taco, Frylicious, and Kaeru Snack Bar will be open for food.
