Get ready to pedal into the spotlight! WindsorEats is thrilled to announce a spectacular “Theatre Edition” of our popular Friday Night Lights bike ride, happening on Friday, July 19, 2024.
This unique cycling event will take participants on a magical tour of Windsor’s vibrant theatre scene, culminating in an unforgettable group photo on the main Pentastar Stage at the historic Capitol Theatre in downtown Windsor.

The ride departs at 8:00 PM from the WindsorEats Food Hall at 400 Erie St. E. in Windsor’s Via Italia, and cyclists of all skill levels are invited to join the fun. As we cruise through the city streets, adorned in our brightest lights, we’ll make a grand entrance at the Capitol Theatre. Participants will have the chance to roll onto the iconic Pentastar Stage, posing with their bikes for a one-of-a-kind group photo that captures the spirit of Windsor’s thriving arts and cycling communities.
Friday Night Lights has become a beloved tradition in Windsor, with up to 300 riders participating at its peak. Cyclists deck out their bikes with dazzling LED lights, transforming the streets into a radiant display of colour and creativity as they light up the night.
The adventure doesn’t stop there! The journey continues to Kordazone Theatre, a gem located on the outskirts of Ford City. Known for its intimate setting and dynamic performances, the visit offers a peek into the small but mighty theatre company that has captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike. Riders will have the opportunity to explore the venue, meet some of the passionate artists, and soak in the creative atmosphere.
“This edition of Friday Night Lights is all about celebrating the artistic pulse of Windsor,” says Adriano Ciotoli, co-owner of WindsorEats. “We wanted to create an experience that not only showcases our city’s love for cycling but also shines a light on the incredible talent and history within our theatre community.”
Participants are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a variety of delicious offerings from multiple food trucks parked at Windsor’s only food truck lot, the WindsorEats Food Hall. The ride is free for those who register in advance or $5 for those who sign up on the night of the event.
